Welcome to the Shrewsbury League

The Shrewsbury League has been created to bring together basketball players, coaches, and clubs from across our community. Designed to offer competition and development at every level, the league provides opportunities for young players taking their first steps in organised basketball, right through to adults competing in senior divisions. 

Our goal is simple: to grow the game locally, create a pathway for players of all ages, and foster a supportive environment where basketball can thrive. 

The Shrewsbury League season runs from October through to June and features a wide variety of fixtures across different venues and age groups. Every division, whether it’s Under 9, Under 11, or senior competition, plays a part in building the league’s identity — one that champions teamwork, respect, and community spirit both on and off the court. 

We’re proud to welcome all participating clubs, teams, players, officials, and families into the league. Together, we are shaping a sustainable and exciting future for basketball in Shrewsbury and the surrounding area.
