Basketball for All!
The club started off in 2004 as Shrewsbury Sharks Basketball Club. The Sharks competed in the Shropshire central venue league tournaments, dominating it for most of the 8 years it ran.
The club changed names to Shrewsbury Basketball Club after the end of the central venue leagues era and became a recreational community club. In 2017 Shrewsbury Storm was reborn and started rebuilding as a competitive basketball club whilst retaining an open door policy to all levels of ability

Here at Shrewsbury Storm we are proud to be partnered with the premier sports facility in Shrewsbury.
The centre boasts a range of outdoor facilities, from football pitches to a floodlit cycle track. It also has a well-stocked café where you can relax and refuel with a drink and a bite to eat.

Belvidere School is a coeducational secondary school located in the Belvidere area of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. The sports centre offers a great facility with multiple hoops for targeted training.
