Men's match report
The men’s team opened up with a win against Walsall 99ers. We started the game cautiously and turned the ball over with some ill placed passes. But with determination and great post moves from Andy Butterworth at both ends of the court we started to dominate the game from the first quarter.
This continued throughout the game and by midway through the second quarter, we had stretched a 20 point gap. The game continued in the same vain and we maintained a 30 point lead.
We played as a team today and shared the ball well. Matt, Ryan we linking up well and with the support of Lee (Big Shot Bob), Lewis 1&2 & Kyle.
Special mentions to our new players this season
Craig Fatcher opened his account for Storm with a fast break layup.
Jake Howells was solid at point guard and played some excellent defense
Pat Morkot was strong on offense and aggressive in defense.
We showed a great team performance and that resulted in a dominant win for the men.
